Yesterday evening a local childminder attended an online training and awareness session on Child Exploitation. It was truly moving, shocking and powerful, telling the awful true story of 'child B - Blondy' and her traumatic life and how she was groomed and exploited into a life of drugs and crime from a shockingly young age of 9 years old.
Would you know the signs to look out for with your children? Or know what questions to ask?
Would your child know the methods these scumbags use to entice them and ultimately trap them?
There is another couple of training sessions next week - 30/45ins - for both parent and child to attend to try to make them aware but not scared. One session is for children 12 and under and another for age 13+ , both with parents. These are free of charge and easy to access via zoom. You don't have to participate - just listen 🤷🏻♀️
If anyone would like the link to book onto either/both of these please let me know. Unfortunately in this day and age the ladies do believe EVERY parent should be educated around these very sensitive but extremely important subjects of Child Sexual Exploitation and County Lines
