I hate this time of year 🥺

Having to wave these children off to big school, and then even bigger school, is always such a mix of emotions. Today definitely had my eyes leaking more than a little. 🥹
When you get to play even a small part in a child's life, they leave such a big mark on your heart. You can't help but feel incredibly proud of the amazing young people they grow into.
Today's goodbye was especially emotional, as I've been lucky enough to care for this one for the last 10 years! I'm really going to miss his cheeky character and our football banter. He is more than ready for this next chapter, and I know he'll absolutely smash it.
You've got this, L! 🌟
And thank you so much for my lovely gifts. The questionnaire tradition lives on, and you've definitely fuelled my Highland Coo obsession! 😂🐮❤️

I've been given permission to share this video of one of our little ones to share an important message. Please watch and listen to this video of this absolute superstar - I can't watch without crying 🥹

A few weeks ago we found a new nest had been built next to the back door. We had a new friend who has been sitting in the nest watching us all play and wave to them. We have copied the sounds they have been making and listening to the replies back to us from the trees and rooftops. And today we have had our first glimpse of the new arrivals 🐦🐦🥰🥰

And for those eagle eyed - we have refrained from playing darts 🎯😜

How to cope as childcare providers on a roasting hot day when you can't take the children out cos it's way too hot 🤔🤔🤔🤔
Do a craft making fans and get them to see who can make you the coldest 🤷🏻‍♀️🤷🏻‍♀️😜😜

😂😂😂😂😂😂😂😂

N.b. we are joking 😜😜
