We had lots of fun this morning as our signers became mini chefs and cooked up a storm 👩🏻‍🍳 the jelly went down a treat and it was exciting trying to catch our bubbles in the mixing bowls 🤩🫧

We had another fab sign class this morning as we learned lots of important signs to do with mealtimes, and everyone loved reaching for the bubbles 🤩🫧

The magic isn't always what happens during class 💜

Of course I love watching babies learn, grow and develop new skills.

But some of my favourite moments happen before and after the session.

Seeing the mums chatting over a brew / lunch. Arranging meet ups in a new WhatsApp group they've set up.
Having conversations where they know it's not just them going through sleepless nights.

Because motherhood was never meant to be done alone ❤️

⭐ Having somewhere to go every week matters.

⭐ Seeing familiar faces matters.

⭐ Knowing there will be people there who understand exactly what stage you're navigating matters.

Some of the friendships formed through Hushabye Hands have lasted years, and I'm so proud of that 😍

What a fun Tuesday 😍😍

In Mummy & Me we explored lots of light up sensory toys and relaxed with a lovely leg and foot massage 🥰

And it's all about food this week in sign and we certainly had fun holding and eating the jelly! 🤭😍

Did you know your baby is learning language long before they say their first word? 💜

Communication doesn't start when babies begin talking. It starts so much earlier!

Here are 3 signs your baby is already developing language skills:

👀 Eye contact
When your baby looks at your face while you're talking, they're learning about communication and connection.

🔄 Back and forth babbling / conversation
Those little coos, smiles and babbles back and forth? That's the beginning of conversation.

🗣️ Understanding familiar words
Before babies can say words themselves, they start recognising words they hear regularly (things like their name, milk or favourite songs)

And this is why signing classes are so amazing! Using BSL gives babies another way to bridge together language and meaning, improving their communication before they can even say their first word 🙌🏻
