Turner Music Education

Turner Music Education Music Education for all, whether you are 4 or 104, beginners to advanced Turner Music Education can provide music workshops for children or training for staff.

Themes can include world music (e.g Latin, Caribbean), historical music (e.g. Tudor, medieval) and training in leading classroom music. Also available - instrumental tuition on a group or individual basis, after school clubs e.g choir, orchestra, windband, recorders etc. as well as classroom music, perhaps covering PPA. Private tuition at home is also available. Please contact us for details of fees.

Here are our trophy winners from the Oswestry Youth Music Festival. Ethan, Martha and Demi even managed 2 each. There are too many 2nd and 3rds to picture, but we are very proud of everyone who took part. Well done - you’re all superstars!

A more relaxing day today as we didn’t have any pupils taking part. Ok, well
maybe not as relaxing as the picture because we were clerking, stewarding and announcing, but we enjoyed listening to the choirs and pianists and the expert assessments of the adjudicators.

Wow, what a day for our singers and woodwind players today. Ethan won a solo trophy and also a duet trophy with Akaash , who was also awarded 2nd place in a solo class - well done, gentlemen. Zach S. was awarded 2 second places, Sammy had a second place, and Zack A, Helena and Lucy a 3rd. We love working with all these amazing young people whether they were placed or not. They all work very hard and put in stellar performances.

Our pupils did us proud yesterday. Every single one of them performed at their best. Congratulations in particular to Sophie, who not only achieved a trophy in one class, but a second AND a third in two other classes. Zak and Harry were awarded 2nd and 3rd respectively. Well done to everyone.

Over the past few days our pupils have taken exams in singing, piano, woodwind and Musical Theatre, and what a talented bunch they are! They all achieved distinctions and merits, and particular congratulations go to Oscar and Kristian for merits for their Grade 8 singing, and Kyle for his distinction for Grade 8 Musical Theatre. Well done, everyone 👏👏👏
