An empty hall on Saturday morning. Fifteen minutes later — full of dancing, singing and children we've genuinely missed.

Thank you to every single family who came back this weekend. From our littlest Mini Movers to our Company members, watching the room fill up again after the summer is honestly the best part of what we do.
And a special thank you to the 19 children who came for a taster session — we loved having you, and we're so happy that many of you have already joined the KSPA family. 💛

If your child would like to come and try a class, just send us a message or fill in the enquiry form on our website. There's always room for one more.

Four sleeps. We couldn’t wait for the music to start, so we started without it. 🎭

There’s a particular restlessness to the last week of the holidays. No stage, no audience, dancing outside the building anyway — because Saturday is nearly here and we’ve been counting.

We’ve missed it. The corridor, the noise, the someone-always-singing. Dance, drama and singing for ages 3 to 19, back at The Whitstable School on Saturday 19th September.

To everyone coming back: four sleeps. We can’t wait to see you.

And if you’ve never been, there’s room for you too — link in our bio 🌱

Next Saturday, the 19th, the hall gets loud again. 🎭

The summer’s been lovely and quiet, and quiet isn’t really what we’re for. We’ve missed the noise of it — the Saturday morning corridor, the shoes, the someone-always-singing.

Dance, drama and singing for ages 3 to 19, back at The Whitstable School on Saturday 19th September. Mini Movers, Movers and Shakers all in the same building on the same morning, which is half the reason it feels the way it does.

And if you’ve been thinking about it all year without quite getting round to it — you haven’t missed anything. Come for a free taster first. No audition, no experience, and nobody will ask your child to perform on day one. Plenty of them spend the first week watching from the edge of the room. That’s allowed.

We’ve got spaces in LAMDA too, Tuesday evenings, if that’s the one you’ve been waiting for.

This is what LAMDA classes in Whitstable actually feel like — told by someone who’s been through them, not by us.

Thank you, Alex. Hearing it from a pupil means far more than anything we could write ourselves, and we’re grateful you took the time to say it.

LAMDA at KSPA runs on Tuesday evenings at The Whitstable School. We teach the syllabus and prepare pupils for the graded acting exams, grades 1 to 8 — and grades 6, 7 and 8 carry UCAS points, so it’s a real qualification, not just a class. It builds the kind of confidence that shows up long after the exam: in school presentations, in interviews, in walking into a room.

A new LAMDA group opens soon, for KSPA pupils and for anyone in Whitstable, Tankerton, Chestfield or Herne Bay who wants to start. Comment LAMDA to go on the waiting list and we’ll message you the times, the age groups and what it costs.
