We are incredibly lucky to have such a dedicated and skilled therapy team here at Ripplevale. 💙 They are not just a resource — they are the heart of our support network and a vital part of our pupils' success.

Tonight, our amazing Emotional Wellbeing (EWB) team led insightful training on the Zones of Regulation, equipping our teaching staff with practical strategies to support emotional development in the classroom. 🧠💬

At the same time, our fantastic Occupational Therapy team, alongside our SENCo, delivered hands-on Sensory Circuits training to boost engagement and regulation for our learners. 🌀👏

Our amazing Emotional Wellbeing Team (EWB) have teamed up with some of our fantastic teachers to create the most thoughtful and creative Zones of Regulation displays around the school!

The Zones of Regulation is a framework that helps our students recognise and manage their emotions—whether they’re feeling blue, yellow, red or green. 💙💛❤️💚 It empowers them to express how they feel and take steps to regulate their emotions, so they can get back to the green zone—calm, focused, and ready to learn. 📚✨

A huge thank you to our dedicated staff for making emotional wellbeing visible, accessible, and supportive for every learner. 💚

🎉 Record-Breaking Exam Results at Ripplevale School Rochester! 🎉

We’re incredibly proud to celebrate our most successful exam year ever! 🌟

✅ Highest number of GCSE entries & passes

✅ 100% pass rate in English, Double Science, Science Trilogy & BTEC Sport

✅ First ever A Level results in Catering & History – all passed!

👏 Special congratulations to Amber, Ripplevale’s first ever A Level History student, who achieved a brilliant C grade!
We’re also celebrating some amazing individual achievements:

🌟 Caris, who gained her qualifications a whole year early – in Year 10 – pictured here proudly with her mum!

🐎 Olivia, who successfully completed her British Horse Society Stage 1 Qualification – an incredible achievement beyond the classroom and a true reflection of determination!

These successes are a testament to the hard work, dedication, and ambition of our students and staff. 💪💙

At Ripplevale School & College, we’re celebrating VE Day in style!
🇬🇧✨🥫🍞🥄

This week, our pupils stepped back in time and took on the WWII Ration Challenge — creating their own meals using just a week's worth of rations from wartime Britain!

⏳🥄👨‍🍳👩‍🍳🕰️
They planned, prepped, and cooked using limited ingredients — and were amazed at how little food families had to survive on!

From canned meats to one teabag and creative substitutions, students truly experienced what life was like on the home front.

A big well done to all our budding chefs!
