We are absolutely overwhelmed by the incredible generosity shown by our community today for our food bank donations.

The response has been truly heartwarming, and we cannot thank you enough for your kindness and support. Your donations will make a real difference to families in our local area.

It's moments like these that remind us what a special community we have here at Whitstable Junior School.

💙 Jeans for Genes Day at Whitstable Junior! 💙

A huge thank you to all our wonderful pupils who wore their denim today to support Jeans for Genes Day!

You all looked fantastic and helped raise awareness (and funds!) for children and families affected by genetic disorders. We're so proud of our compassionate community! 💪✨

6L have been getting stuck into their new science topic on classification, starting with real insects before branching out to a whole animal kingdom! Lots of investigating, sorting and scientific exploring.

This week year 3 made beautiful flapping butterflies during their (rather rainy) outdoor learning session.

Our nurture group had a fantastic time in art with Ginny this week making creative animal masks! While crafting, the children showed amazing resilience by pushing through tricky challenges and kept trying even when things got tough. At the same time, they did a wonderful job mastering their fine motor skills through careful cutting, pasting, and decorating. We are so proud of their hard work and beautiful creations!🎨🦁
