Our lovely stick insects are getting bigger and bigger! 🥰
We love having our pet stick insects ... Hairy Mclary and Runny Honey (named by the children) - they help us think and care about others ❤

The Preschool room have been busy making tie dye socks, and we thought it would be kind to make and gift Sarah (our lovely cook) a pair, along with some artwork we have made! ❤
Someone asked recently 'what should we expect in a show around?' so we thought we'd give you a little snippet into our baby room show-around ❤...
We of course have our wonderful toddler and preschool room too! With our BLA curriculum, cooking and next stop school curriculum, but we thought we would show you our 'home from home' baby room first 🙂

I thought I would share with you, that we have decided to add a extra circular session in Preschool! 🎵🎶🎻🎷🎼🎤🎹
We will be having Sam the Music Man every month in preschool! Sam comes in with a different instrument each session!
This time it was the guitar, the children are always allowed to try the instrument,
Sam also brought in his microphone where we experimented with building our confidence by creating sounds and talking into the microphone.
We also experimented with rhythm - we would go One, Two, Three, Four (and repeat) Sam would then add a action to the rhythm, e.g One, Foot Stomp, Three, Clap.
We of course then had to do our favourite song 'knee's clap', where the children get to show off their favourite skill in the circle!
We even learnt about some conductor hand moves and what they mean in music.
Plenty of music, dancing and singing! The children are so engaged in these sessions :)
