Our Year 1 children have had a wonderful experience working with Drawing for the Planet🎨

We started with a call with Charlie where the children learned all about different types of elephants, what they need to survive and the fascinating ways elephants are similar to us. 🐘❤️

The children then had the opportunity to work alongside artist, Jane Lee McCracken to create their very own beautiful elephant artwork. They showed fantastic creativity, enthusiasm and care throughout the session, and we are so proud of their amazing creations! 🎨✨

What a wonderful way to combine learning, creativity and caring for our planet! 🌎💚

We have all grown a little bit taller including our sunflower in our veggie patch! Such a lovely hands on experience for the children to grow and eat their own produce.

A huge well done and thank you to all of our School Council members for their hard work and commitment this year!
They have made a wonderful contribution to our school community by helping with our school cake sale, as well as supporting the wider community by creating Christmas cards for patients in hospital and encouraging our Star of the Sea families to donate to The Bay Food Bank.
We are so proud of the kindness, leadership, and care they have shown throughout the year. Thank you for being fantastic ambassadors for our school. Have a wonderful summer!
