DT..... and Geography? Really?

Oh yes!! We can bring cross curricular links to pretty much any area of your curriculum! After all food is pretty important in all aspects of life and society!

Today, Katie worked with year 4 children at Monkhouse Primary School to explore flavours and ingredients in countries which the Alps run through, the Alps being their Geography topic!

We tried Gruyere, Brie, figs, olives, sun dried tomatoes and a variety of herbs, all embedded into delicious soda bread! We had so much fun and the children were keen to share their knowledge on the Alps!
