Community Rugby Coach offering free Rugby Union support to schools within North Tyneside and Ashington.

Percy Park RFC & Whitley Bay Rockcliff have created a partnership to create a Community Rugby Coach Role which will aim to offer free Rugby Union support to schools within North Tyneside. The roles main focus is -
Support the growth of the Women and Girls game leading up to the 2025 RWC. Support player retention and transition within the Men's game for players aged 16-21. Support Education staff

in their delivery of Rugby Union in North Tyneside. Develop a Rugby Union education offering in which curriculum and after-school playing opportunities are provided to local schools and colleges. These may include Age Grade festivals, XV-a-side, 7s, Touch, Walking Rugby, to be hosted at both rugby clubs, as festivals, fixtures, introduction sessions, and after school clubs. Liaise with the RFU, Northumberland Rugby Union, and the Newcastle Falcons on further opportunities that the clubs and schools can access to supplement their playing offers.
