Industry-connected creative learning for schools and young people.

11/03/2026

Creative careers become real when students hear directly from the people doing the work.

Teacher, Michael Yarde from Whitley Bay High School, shares how TICE Live Briefs bring industry insight into the classroom, with creative professionals leading workshops that help students see what these careers actually look like.

Kintentional Collage begins with a shift in fashion culture, from surface trends to intentional design.

Designers are no longer just creating “looks”. They’re responding to identity, heritage, community, memory, and values. The question is no longer what’s next? but why does this matter?

This project invites students to recognise those cultural directions and choose one with purpose, building depth, consistency, and meaning into their creative work.

Part of a live brief for schools, co-delivered by TICE Ă— Ambridge Studio.

Kintentional Collage is a TICE fashion and illustration project exploring how clothing becomes a form of storytelling.

Through collage and illustration, students explore identity, culture, and intentional design, using fashion as a visual language shaped by history, community, and self-expression (and yes, there will be cutting, sticking, layering and making a bit of a mess along the way).

Developed as a live brief for schools, co-delivered by TICE Ă— Ambridge Studio, and featuring fashion designer Steph Ambridge.

Available now for schools.

There’s a question I keep coming back to, one that won’t sit quietly.

What would change if employability included imagination?

This is the first in an occasional series I’ll be sharing here, where I reflect on education, creativity, and the questions that shape TICE. You can read the full piece on our website in the Journal section.

Written by me, Jen, founder of TICE, thinking aloud.

If you’re wondering what TICE actually does - this is it.

We design creative projects and experiences that give young people space to explore ideas, build confidence and create work they’re genuinely proud of.

Not extra. Not overwhelming. Just thoughtful, well-structured creative learning that fits real classrooms and real lives.

For teachers, it’s support, clarity and breathing room.
For young people, it’s confidence, direction and work that actually goes somewhere.

This is TICE.

This is TICE in action.

Where creative potential is taken seriously, confidence is built, and real pathways into the creative industries begin. We work alongside schools, young people and industry to create experiences rooted in real-world practice and future careers.

Our legacy didn’t start with a brand.
It started with a question.

How do we help people build creative futures that are real, sustainable and full of possibility?

Since 2006, we’ve been doing exactly that, using trend forecasting and creative industry insight to shape work that’s grounded in real roles, real skills and real pathways. We build confidence, open doors, and connect people to the creative industries as they actually are, not how they’re imagined.

Still curious. Still evolving. Still backing the next generation.
