📚 GCSE ENGLISH LITERATURE – MACBETH

My online GCSE English Literature small group starts in September, beginning with Macbeth.

🎭 6-week Macbeth course
📅 Mondays, 5.15–6.00pm
🗓️ 14th September – 19th October 2026
👩‍🎓 Suitable for Years 10 & 11
💷 £120 for 6 lessons (£20 per lesson)

Across the course, we’ll focus on key themes, characters, quotations, context and, most importantly, how to turn that knowledge into strong exam answers.

Students also receive:

⭐ A printed course workbook
⭐ Weekly exam-style homework with detailed feedback
⭐ Access to lesson recordings for revision
⭐ Support from an experienced English teacher and GCSE examiner

The groups are friendly and supportive, and cameras are optional – students can contribute as much or as little as they feel comfortable with.

For those students who will be resitting their English Language GCSE, my small Tuesday group will be starting with AQA English Language Paper 1, Section A and focusing on this until half term.

This could be just the extra support your child needs to approach their resit with more confidence. We’ll work through each of the four questions step by step, focusing on exactly what the examiner is looking for and how to structure responses effectively.

Sometimes, a little extra guidance and focused exam practice can make all the difference in boosting that grade second time around. 🌟

A massive well done to all of my GCSE students receiving their results today! 🎉📚🌟

I know the personal stories behind each and every one of you — the hard work, the challenges, the determination and the resilience it has taken to get to this point. You should be so incredibly proud of yourselves.

It’s been a privilege to support you along the way, and I can’t wait to see where your next chapter takes you. A very proud tutor today! 🥰

And today I’m also an especially proud mum. My son Daniel, who many of you will know from joining some of my group lessons over the years, absolutely smashed his GCSEs too! He worked incredibly hard for those results, and I couldn’t be prouder of him.

An extra-special proud mum moment for me too, as my own daughter Holly got the results she needed and will be off to the University of Liverpool in September! 🎓📚❤️
