There’s live music, activities, refreshments and plenty happening throughout the day, and we’ll be there meeting families and joining in all the fun.

At a loose end today and looking for something to do. Why not pop along to the Playhouse Whitley Bay for their first community day. It’s a great way to support some local businesses.

Meet some princesses, Spider-Man, arts & crafts, Photo Booth, DJ, retro games, Photo Booth, shows throughout the day and lots more to do

Tickets available from the box office.

Shout out Tale as Old as Tyne, Retro Bay Cafe, Crazy-Pix- Photo Booths, Selfie Pods, fiesta and More, Andrelli and other local businesses supporting this great day.

Performances from True Colours, North East String Duo, Whitley Bay Musical Company, Lily Carson and stage school and Whitley Bay Pantomime Society.

Whitley Lodge Under Fives is a childcare provision that is committed to providing a safe, stimulating and caring environment, where learning is fun and children can enjoy social interaction with their peers.

Our team is sensitive to children’s individual needs and encourage them to reach their full potential at their own pace.

We are a charity and work in partnership with parents to provide a quality pre-school experience.

Sessions are 9am – 12pm Mon-Fri during term time in our purpose-built classroom with outdoor play space. Our team are proud to offer:
- Qualified, caring staff.
- Competitively priced.
- Funding available for two and three year olds.
- Good Ofsted inspection.
- Spaces available now (Children can attend from 2 years old)

We also host Toddler Group stay and play sessions which are Tuesday and Friday 1.30-3pm with tea and coffee, children’s drink and snack, free play, stories, songs and craft activities.
