Save the date and join us for an afternoon of family fun at the Cornerstone PTA Back to School Fayre!

🕞 3:30pm – 6:00pm
📍 Cornerstone C of E Primary School

✨ FREE entry to the fayre! ✨

There’ll be something for everyone, including:

🍔 BBQ
🎟️ Tombola
🛍️ Small business stalls
🎯 Games stalls
🎤 Local performances
🎧 DJ Clarke providing the music
🍰 Refreshments

🎈 InflataPlanet will be joining us with unlimited inflatables for just £10 per person, payable directly to InflataPlanet.

💜💛 You’re Invited to Our PTA AGM💛💜

WHAT IS THE PTA AGM?
You might have seen our AGM poster and wondered… what actually happens at an AGM?! 👀

Our Annual General Meeting is a chance for parents and carers to come along, hear about what the PTA has been up to, and help shape what we do next.

✨ At the AGM:
• All PTA committee members are elected for the coming year
• We’ll make plans for the year ahead
• There’ll be a chance to share ideas and suggestions
• You can find out more about how you can get involved with the PTA
• Everyone is welcome! 💜
• You can be involved without committing to a formal committee role

And because meetings are always better with snacks… 😋 🍰 Cakes, snacks & soft drinks will be provided! 🧃

🙋 Cornerstone Families We Need Your Help!

Our Back to School Fayre is coming up, and we’re looking for some lovely people who can spare a little time to help make the day a success! 💛

Whether you can help for one shift or more, we’d be incredibly grateful. There’s no need to commit to the whole event — just choose a time that works for you:

🛠️ Set-up: 1:00pm–3:00pm
🎉 Event – Part 1: 3:00pm–4:30pm
🎉 Event – Part 2: 4:30pm–6:00pm
🧹 Close-down: 6:00pm–7:00pm

👉 If you are able to volunteer, please send us a msg and we can share a link to the volunteering form

⛺ Can You Help with a Gazebo?

We are also looking to borrow gazebos for the event. If you have one that you would kindly be willing to lend us for the day, we would be incredibly grateful.

Our PTA Bottle Tombola is back for the school fayre and we need your help stocking it up!
Please bring in any alcohol or non-alcohol bottles 🍷🥤

✅ Bottles must be sealed
✅ Must be in date

📅 Friday 18th Sept 2026 (Back to School fayre day! 🎉)
⏰ Collection: 8:30am – 9am
📍 main gate area, and
📍 South Gate area

👕 In exchange for a NON-UNIFORM DAY on the same day!

🎈 Important advice for inflatables: • Children should wear long trousers and long sleeve tops to help avoid friction burns
• Socks must be worn at all times

🎪 Back to School Fayre – 18th September
A great chance to come together, have some fun and support our school community! 🎉

📣 AGM – 21st September
We’d love to see as many parents and carers as possible!

This year, our current Treasurer and Secretary are stepping down, so we are looking for volunteers to take on these important roles.

At each AGM, the committee steps down for reappointment, meaning all three main roles — Chairperson, Treasurer and Secretary — are open for voting.

If you’d be interested in getting involved or would like to find out more about any of the roles, please come along to the AGM or get in touch with us. We’d love to hear from you! 💙
