We are seeking to appoint a cleaner to work as part of our site team from September 2026.
We are looking for a hardworking and enthusiastic person to join our cleaning team, who takes pride in their work and has high standards, so that our children have a clean and safe place to learn.
The post is for 10 hours per week (2 hours per day Monday - Friday between 3.15-6.15. (On Tuesday/Wednesday/Thursday, the hours can be worked between 3.15 - 7.00.) The position is for termtime only plus 3 weeks per year. Hours may be blocked during school holidays in order to perform a thorough deep clean. Job share would be considered – please state on your application form how many days you would be interested in.

🎶 Some wonderful news to end the school year! 🎶

Following a visit last month, we are delighted to share that Whiteley Primary School has been selected as a Lead School for Music for Hampshire Music Service.
This is a fantastic achievement and recognition of the outstanding music provision at Whiteley. A huge congratulations and thank you to Mrs Mann, Mrs Maudsley and all the staff who work so hard to provide high-quality musical opportunities for our children.

The Hampshire Music Service visitors commented:

"We were highly impressed by your application, the quality of music education within your school, and your commitment to supporting the wider development of music across Hampshire. We are pleased to invite Whiteley to join our Lead School network."

The Lead School programme brings together schools that work in partnership with Hampshire Music Education Hub to share expertise, champion excellent practice and support high-quality music education across the county.

We are incredibly proud of this achievement and look forward to supporting and inspiring even more young musicians in the years ahead. 🎵🎤🎻🎺

If you are a family living in the North Whiteley Development and are looking to gain your confidence in cycling in and around the area this summer, then Hampshire County Council, Hampshire Outdoors Team are running free led cycle ride sessions (funded by the North Whiteley Consortium) from Barn Farm Community Centre on Thursday 20 August 2026. There will be two sessions, the morning session runs from 9am until 12pm and the afternoon session runs from 1pm until 4pm.

Day 4 - Avon Tyrrell update
We've packed so much into our final days! The children have been investigating forces through exciting bottle rocket experiments, showing great scientific thinking and curiosity. They also demonstrated fantastic teamwork and determination on the Challenge Course before rounding off the evening with a fabulous Hot Disco! 🕺💃

This morning, it's just breakfast, stripping beds, and clearing rooms before one final game of Avon Tyrrell Fox. 🦊

We can't wait to tell you all about our adventures when we return this afternoon. Thank you to all the Whiteley Primary staff for giving up their week to make this possible!😊

🌞 Avon Tyrrell Day 3 Update 🏕️

After a quiet night, the children enjoyed another fun-filled day in the sunshine. Many cooled off on the lake, while others got creative in the shade making nature bracelets.

The day ended with a campfire, s'mores, a sing-song, and a special visit from Mrs Pennington. We're having a fantastic time and embracing all the adventures on offer! 🔥🎶🍫😊

Avon Tyrrell Day 2 Update 🌞

A busy day packed with fun activities! The children have enjoyed developing their bike skills, tackling personal challenges on the Tree Top Trail, and getting back out on the lake for pedalo sessions, paddle boarding and raft building.
With plenty of water breaks and time in the shade throughout the day, everyone has kept going despite the warm weather. Today's meals were chilli for lunch and a roast dinner for supper.

Lots of happy memories being made! 🚴‍♂️🌳🌊😊
