Welcome to Tuition Time! Tuition Time offers tutoring sessions on both a one-to-one and group setting. Open 7 days a week.

We endeavour to introduce a more holistic approach to education, in a method that is not solely academic in nature. At Tuition Time, we offer a number of services including:
- Transfer preparation
- Maths & English at primary level
- Study skills & English to A level
- Proof reading

We have an extensive team of experienced tutors at Tuition Time and all have spaces for new pupils.

- French, Spanish & Italian Tutor Catherine, who has worked at Methody College and is from Italy.

- Business Studies tutor, Elaine who is head of Business Studies and has years of teaching experience. All tutors have extensive experience and are based at Tuition Time premises at 5 Chester Avenue Whitehead. Sessions are available in the form of one-to-one tuition and group workshops available on request. Not only do we offer tuition, we also run educational events and activities. 𝗪𝗵𝘆 𝗧𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲?

Look at our reviews! We have a high success rate, a large team of committed staff and two fully booked branches. This speaks volumes!

We offer other services too, we lead World of Work programmes, pre school sessions and offer counselling services for children. During summer we have crazy fun at Summer scheme 😎

We are all experienced in tutoring children with SEN. Homeschooling groups are also catered for 🏠

We are professionally recognised, and work in collaboration to deliver programmes with Mid and East Antrim Borough Council 🤝

Fun is at the centre of our learning. Each branch has regular prizes and incentives for hard working pupils. Seasonally we have parties for pupils and all year round we provide them with a welcoming environment!

Tutoring services are expensive and we appreciate parents dedication and commitment to their child's future 💰

But with cost comes quality. Due to our highly qualified staff, the rate we offer staff is high. This ensures we employ good, skilled tutors to work with your children.

We also have premises costs. This is a benefit for several reasons - child protection as we tutor together, as well as a bright and welcoming educational centre for pupils 🎨

At Tuition Time we are currently priced competitively with similar local services.

Also, and most importantly, this is an investment in your child's education and confidence - which is so worth it! ❤️

𝗪𝗵𝗼 𝗮𝗿𝗲 𝘁𝗵𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘀?

At Tuition Time we have a large group of staff working across both branches.

Most are teachers and all are experienced tutors in their subject area. All have a minimum qualification of a university degree 👨‍🎓

We are all police checked and child protection trained. We also adhere closely to the Northern Ireland curriculum and exam specific requirements 🚓

𝗪𝗵𝗮𝘁 𝗵𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗲𝗻𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗮 𝗧𝘂𝗶𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻 𝗧𝗶𝗺𝗲 𝘁𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗿𝗶𝗻𝗴 𝘀𝗲𝘀𝘀𝗶𝗼𝗻?

Our sessions take place in either of our two branches - Whitehead and Whiteabbey. Both are fully equipped with lots of resources, laptops, whiteboards and haribos! 🍭

Sessions are one to one and focus is very much on the individual students’ needs and goals ✍️

Each session lasts for an hour each week and pupils have their own folder of work - this shows where they are at and what has been covered 📚

Part of the fun at Tuition Time is that our tutors work alongside eachother. This gives a social dynamic to the experience as well 😊

At Tuition Time, tutoring provides students with one to one quality revision time, with a qualified expert. Students get the chance to focus on tricky areas and exam prep 📚

Since Tuition Time began 15 years ago, Debbie's vision was always a holistic approach to tutoring; focus on confidence building and making learning fun = results academically plus an increased desire to learn 🎉

Whilst we love to meet target goals academically, this is not our measure of success at Tuition Time. A pupil who is improving at their pace and growing in confidence, is exactly what tutoring is all about! ⭐
