✨ We are incredibly proud! ✨

Following our recent Ofsted inspection, we are so pleased to be able to share our report with you.

We are extremely proud of our wonderful team and the outcome of the inspection. Every day, they work so hard to create a happy, caring and nurturing environment where our children can learn, grow and thrive. 💛

A huge thank you also goes to our amazing children and families for being such an important part of our nursery community.

We would love to encourage all of our parents and carers to take a few minutes to read the full Ofsted report and see the lovely feedback for themselves.

👏 Well done to our whole team, we couldn’t be prouder!

📚 This week in the pre school have been exploring two of our favourite Julia Donaldson stories,
Monkey Puzzle and The Snail and the Whale! 🐵🐌🐳

The children have enjoyed lots of fun activities inspired by the stories, including:

🐵 Re-enacting Monkey Puzzle using character wooden spoons
🔭 Making binoculars and searching for Mammy Monkey
🐌 Creating colourful paper plate snails
🐳 Exploring our beach tuff tray and helping to rescue the whale
🐌 Making playdough snails while practising fine motor skills

We’ve had lots of fun bringing these wonderful stories to life! 📚✨

🌟 All About Me 🌟

This week at nursery, our children aged 0–4 have been exploring what makes them special and learning more about themselves and the people around them.

We’ve talked about our interests and favourite things, drawn around each other to explore our bodies and differences, and our babies have enjoyed looking at photos of their families and recognising familiar faces.

We’ve also used mirrors to support self-recognition, encouraging the children to notice their own features, expressions and movements.

It’s been a lovely way to support confidence, communication, relationships and a growing sense of identity. 💛

On Friday we visited the Community Family Hub Bus! 🦷

The children were invited aboard to listen to a friendly talk about how to keep their teeth clean, healthy and strong. We enjoyed learning all about looking after our smiles! 😁

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed getting creative with playdough, making lots of delicious looking meals and treats, finished with a story about a trip to the dentist 🪥 🦷 🍝🍰

We had a fantastic afternoon exploring the Community Family Hub Bus and would like to say a big thank you to the team for making us feel so welcome. 💙🩵💛💚
