On Friday we visited the Community Family Hub Bus! 🦷

The children were invited aboard to listen to a friendly talk about how to keep their teeth clean, healthy and strong. We enjoyed learning all about looking after our smiles! 😁

Afterwards, everyone enjoyed getting creative with playdough, making lots of delicious looking meals and treats, finished with a story about a trip to the dentist 🪥 🦷 🍝🍰

We had a fantastic afternoon exploring the Community Family Hub Bus and would like to say a big thank you to the team for making us feel so welcome. 💙🩵💛💚

☀️🌼 Sunshine and fresh air🌼🦋

Today our babies, toddlers and preschoolers enjoyed a lovely walk along the cycle track, making the most of the beautiful weather. Along the way we spotted colourful flowers, fluttering butterflies and searched for lots of different colours in nature playing our colour matching game.

Exploring the outdoors encourages curiosity, supports communication and helps us appreciate the wonderful world around us.
What a lovely way to embrace the sunshine together!🌈💛

🌊🐚 Last week in the Baby Room we explored all things seaside! ☀️

Our little ones enjoyed a sensory seaside tray, water play, ocean themed stories and songs, and lots of sensory exploration as they discovered different textures, colours and sea creatures. 💙🐠

What a fun week of learning through play! 🦀✨

Last week in the bumble bee room our theme was “measuring” 🐝

Through fun, hands-on activities, we explored and compared different sizes, lengths, heights, weights, and capacities. We used everyday language such as big, small, tall, short, heavy, light, full, and empty while building, pouring, sorting, and investigating.

Our activities included;
📏 Measuring with blocks and rulers.
🧱Building towers and comparing heights.
📚 Measuring ourselves.
💧 Filling and pouring.
🚗 Ramp investigation.

🏡 At Home You Could...
▪️Compare the heights of family members and talk about who is taller or shorter.
▪️Fill and empty containers during bath time to explore full, empty, more, and less.

🦋 This Week in the Butterfly Room 🦋

Our theme this week is “The Animal Boogie”! 🦁🐒🐼

This follows on from last week’s circle time, where we enjoyed reading The Animal Boogie story. The children had so much fun singing, dancing, and joining in with the actions to the song that we decided to continue the theme this week.
