NURSERY CLOSURE

Due to the severe weather warnings In place unfortunately nursery will be closed today. We will reopen Monday at 7am. This is to ensure the safety of our children,staff and parents.

At Abc Nursery Whitehaven we believe that children learn best through interactive , fun and real-life experiences . The children have been learning about animals and life cycles and have had a great few weeks hatching some chicks. They have watched them grow and cared for them. All the children have had an EGGCELLENT experience and were sad to see them go.

Tomorrow, Thursday 2nd March is World Book Day. Your child/ren can come to nursery dressed as their favourite character or bring a book into nursery to share with their friends 😊📚

PANCAKE DAY😊
This morning for snack, the tots and preschool made pancakes🥞 We chose our own toppings, took turns and used a knife for spreading. They were delicious 😋

This week the baby room have had an activity filled week. We started off the week with painting using different shapes and objects. We then played with our babies feeding them milk and changing their nappies. We done lots of water play making big splashes and have coloured in lots of pictures as well as reading books together. Well done babies 😊

This morning The Tots Room had a lovely walk to the harbour to see some boats as part of our ongoing transport topic 🚢 It was such a lovely morning out in the fresh air looking at the different types of boats 😊
