❤️ Valentines Disco ❤️

The PTA will be hosting a valentine's disco on Wednesday 12th February.

Children will be escorted over to the village hall by their teachers and pick up will be at 5.00pm prompt.

Price will be £3.00 per a child
Included in the ticket price is a hotdog and unlimited juice.
DJ Pippa will also be blasting tunes, playing party games and having fun.

If your child/children would like to attend, please pay via the link to our online shop. At checkout please add a note with child's name and year.

Flashing accessories will also be available to purchase in our store. Children will be given items upon entering the hall.

A big thank you to everyone for supporting our events last term. All the money we raise goes back into school.

Lately due to a huge rise in transport costs, we are helping to subsidise school trips.

Teddy's
If anyone has any teddies they are looking to rehome, we will gladly take them for our fayre. Please drop teddies into school tomorrow morning and a member of the pta will collect them

🎅 Christmas Raffle 🎅

We have been very kindly donated a bike for our upcoming Christmas raffle from Hannah's Smile Foundation .
Lots of prizes will be up for grabs, more to be listed.

Tickets will go on sale Wednesday 4th at our Christmas fayre. Raffle will be drawn on Monday 16th.

Don't forget tomorrow is a dress down day at school In exchange for a chocolate/treat item. Items will be used for our tombola at our upcoming Christmas Fayre .

👻 SPOOKY DISCO 👻

Tickets are £3 each and Include unlimited juice and a hotdog. DJ Pippa will be playing games and keeping the children entertained throughout the evening.

Please book children's place Via the link below. At checkout, please state the child's year group and name where it asks for any additional comments. This will enable us to allocate accessories to the correct children upon entering the disco.

The 'Spooky' disco is taking place after school next week on Wednesday 16th October 15.30 - 17.00. You can book your child a place on the PTA website and also order any accessories the PTA are selling. Please note the online payment will close the day before so please book a place ASAP. Children will be taken over to the the disco by school staff and are to be collected at the village hall at 17:00pm (please wait outside and school staff will dismiss children). If your child is not attending the disco, then just collect them are usual at 15.30pm from school gates.

Costumes
Children can wear a costume to the disco if they wish, but we ask that children bring their costume to school in a carrier bag to change into at the end of the day.

Nursery new starters
If nursery new starters (children who started school this September) are attending the disco, we ask that they are accompanied by a parent.

ASDA CASH FOR SCHOOLS

Asda has created an exciting initiative for schools to raise extra funds with no additional cost to yourself.

To do this all you need to do is
* Log into your Asda rewards app
* Select St.Bridgets C of E parton
* Confirm and that's it!

For every shop you make at Asda, they will donate 0.5% of your total shop to the school at no extra cost to yourselves. It also does not effect any of your Asda rewards, they will continue as usual!!

WIN WIN

We hope all the children had as much fun as we did at yesterday's colour run! We had squeals, laughter and a few trying to hide from us but we got them all 💪

Thank you to the staff at St.Bridgets for getting involved and helping to organise an incredible day for the children. Sports day and colour run on the same day is no easy task and it was great to see staff running the course with the children.

A BIG thank you goes to all pta members who volunteered to man stalls, baked, threw powder and wet the children!

We are excited and proud to announce with sponsorship, sunglasses and stalls we raised a whopping £1075.20!!

A huge thank you to everyone who supported our event, we can't wait for next year's 🤣

TODAYS COLOUR RUN

Sadly we've been informed the fire engine can no longer attend. Not to worry, the children aren't getting off that lightly .... We have soakers at the ready 🔫😎

All children will receive a bottle of water when finishing their run.

Cake stall
We also have cupcakes, cupcakes and more cupcakes! A very generous pta member has very kindly baked lots of delicious cupcakes. These we will be selling for £1.
For our large family cakes, these will be £5 each (we have three cakes available) all look absolutely delicious too!

Toy/sweet Stall
Toys, a lovely parent has put together a fun toy/sweet stall selling an assortment of goods for the children. Including inflatables , sweets, goodie bags, fidgets and many more! Prices start from 50p - £2.00

Coloured powder
If what we throw at the children isn't enough 🤣
We will also be selling packets of coloured powder for £1

lastly we hope the children have an amazing day and we can't wait to see all their smiles when running the course

FRIDAYS SPORTS DAY AND COLOUR RUN

Sports day begins at 1pm followed with the colour run at approximately 2.15pm.
The weather looks like it's finally behaving and we're all good to go.
There will be four colour stations this year ...red, Blue, green and yellow. Last year we had parents morph into a smurf and a minion, fingers crossed they make an appearance again 😂🤞
