👦❤️ Happy 💐 Father's Day!
Three cheers for my daddy,
Hip, hip, hooray!
Like a Triceratops
You brighten my day!
With a stomp and a roar,
I just want to say:
Have a "dino-mite"
Father’s Day!

I'm Siera, Ofsted registered childminder based in Whitefield. We live on a friendly and quiet street with lots of surrounding trees so we always hear birds chirping throughout the day. At Giggles childminding your child will have the enjoyment of a larg
🧠 Small Lines, Big Brain Power! ✏️✨
This dot-grid activity is a simple, high-impact task that aligns perfectly with our EYFS Gigglers.
By copying the patterns, they boost Physical Development through fine motor ✏️ control and enhance Mathematics skills by exploring spatial awareness and grid patterns.
It's the perfect addition to our continuous provision of independent morning table setups to build concentration and early writing confidence.

🏁 Vroom vroom! Our EYFS speedsters are steering their way through shape formation today! 🏎️💨
We attached marker pens to our favourite monster trucks to trace pre-drawn shape outlines. This high-octane activity keeps our little learners fully engaged while secretly boosting their development.
🌟 What we are learning:
Fine motor control by gripping and guiding the trucks. ✍️
Hand-eye coordination by tracking the lines closely. 👐
Shape recognition through active, hands-on play.🟪🔽🟢
"From wiggles to wings! 🦋 Today we’re learning how tiny eggs turn into hungry caterpillars and then into beautiful butterflies."
🌱🌏
A great opportunity to show our little Gigglers - that just like caterpillars, 🐛they have the power to grow and do amazing things 🌟
Magic at First Sight: The Power of the Invitation ✨
The most beautiful thing about an Invitation to Play isn't the materials themselves—it’s the message they send to the child.
When we take the time to set the stage before the children arrive, we are telling them: "You were on my mind before you even walked through the door."
Getting creative with the tiniest artists! 🎨 ⛰️
Turning our garden walk into a masterpiece with Rock Painting.
This is one of our favorite low-prep activities because it’s all about the process—from hunting for the perfect smooth stone to the sensory fun of washing them in a bucket of bubbles! 🧼✨
It’s more than just a mess; it’s a great way for little hands ✋ to practice fine motor skills and explore bright new textures.
Whether they’re painting ladybugs or just some very enthusiastic "abstract" rainbows, these little treasures are pure joy 😊
A spontaneous daisy 🌼 making activity to finish our week 🌟
🎶 daisies are little stars with golden hearts that dance in the meadows 🎼
