Please post. My cat has been missing for 48 hours now from the bottom of ainsworth road, Radcliffe. She’s a very fluffy cat with a bright pink collar on! She’s very friendly and will go to anyone! Usually she just wanders on the back street and comes back but hasn’t this time. She goes by name Zula, Thank you

Do you have a spare room and are you over the age of 21? Have you ever considered becoming a foster carer?
Many people think they don’t fit the required criteria and rule themselves out. In Bury, we have foster carers who are as diverse as the children we look after.

One of the biggest myths about being a foster carer is “I’m too old”.
Did you know there is no upper age limit for foster carers or supported lodgings carers?
Bury Council have carers across all age ranges even those in their 80’s and we need more, now more than ever!
Our older carers have a wealth of life experience to bring to providing a safe and secure home to local children and young people, (often on a temporary basis) supporting them in the next stage on their life journey.
Some have had children of their own, some haven’t. Some live alone, others don’t.
In all cases, you will receive ongoing support and fostering (or supported lodgings) allowances.
Find out more clicking the link below and one of the friendly recruitment team will be in touch.

So a new Skills to Foster training course for prospective foster carers has commenced. I love getting to know those on the course, and passing on experiences where I can. Good luck everyone!
