Sticky fingers and happy smiles… that’s how our 8 excited new year Rs were ‘in the mix’ for their special ‘starting school’ class yesterday afternoon!

Exciting times! The preschool classes for next term are live… I’m focussing mostly on the ever-popular Friday morning slot for what is always a quiet half-term, but with a Monday afternoon for those of you who said you wanted one. As ever, I’ll add classes on different days as/when enough of you guys tell me you’d like them.

I’m busy planning the preschool (cookery/craft/story/taste) sessions for next half term.

With most of my customers starting big school, and more home ed and nursery sessions to run, I need to use my time wisely to get as many children cooking as possible!
Most preschool parents are telling me they can do Friday mornings… if you *can’t* do Friday mornings, when else would you like occasional sessions to run? A few have mentioned Monday afternoon… what else? Comment below or message me!

On the eve of results day, good luck to my daughter and everyone getting results tomorrow.
I had the absolute pleasure in June of 2 full days of cookery with a dozen winchestercollege students straight after their GCSEs. It was something totally new for me - particularly in a heatwave with only 1 domestic oven - but I loved it! We rolled fresh pasta, made stuffed flatbreads from scratch, jars of chutney to take home as gifts, snacks, meals and lots more.

Well that was fun… A little private class for 3 families that seem to be summer regulars!
This year we made 8 Banoffee Cheesecakes with possibly the most artistic decorations you’ve ever seen!
A blueberry sea with pink shrimp swimming, a biscuit beach with gingerbread people sunning themselves on striped beach towels under a parasol, and a green sprinkle grassed area with an edible gingham picnic blanket, and a teddy bear couple enjoying drinks and -of course - some banana!
Loved coming up with this one!

There’s still time to book for our mini food craft workshop tomorrow morning!
We’re creating a Banoffee Beach Bowl – a pot of fruity, crunchy, sweet and creamy yumminess, topped with a cute sunbathing beach scene.
We’ll be ready to create from 10am, with the last start time available just after midday.
Book a half hour slot and arrive any time within that session – and don’t worry if you’re a little early or late; we get it!
Book in advance for just £7 per child to help us prepare, or turn up on the day and if we’ve got enough ingredients left you can join in for £8.
Suitable for tots (walking/talking), preschoolers and primary age children.
We’ll be set up in the fabulous cafe of Pop Up Play Village located within iFLY at the Basingstoke Leisure Park.
Stay to chat and enjoy a coffee in The Real Cafe whilst your little one enjoys eating the fruits of their labours! And why not combine it with a play session in the role play village?

Kids beginning to get bored? Don’t forget our mini cookery workshop as part of the big launch week at Pop Up Play Village - Basingstoke in the Leisure Park… just the right length for a tasty bit of creative fun before/after a fab role play session 🏖️

Bring your little chef to the fabulous Pop Up Play Village located within iFLY at the Basingstoke Leisure Park and share a fun-filled mini cookery workshop together. We’ll help you both make and decorate a delicious Banoffee Beach Bowl – a pot of fruity, crunchy, sweet and creamy yumminess, topped with a cute sunbathing beach scene.

🎬 And that’s a wrap on the preschool classes for this school year…
🏫 We restart in September with special Year R classes for school starters, and Friday morning classes for preschoolers (other days will be added as demand develops).
🏖️ Don’t forget our mini cookery workshop on 7th August at Pop Up Play Village - Basingstoke.
