Would like to give a special thank you to Martha, Olivia, Veronika and Josh who all stepped up to partner younger members of the school Yesterday.

🏆 WE’VE MADE THE FINAL 7! 🏆

Out of hundreds of nominations, we are incredibly proud to announce that Colebrooke Productions has been shortlisted for the ‘Outstanding Drama Initiative Award’ at the Music & Drama Education Awards 2027! 🎭✨

Our nomination celebrates our mission to bring high-quality, accessible drama opportunities to young people across the North Yorkshire coast, with reference to my passionate open letter. 🌊

🎭 The only dedicated drama school within around 30 miles
👧 170+ students at Colebrooke
🏫 Drama now reaching 6+ new local primary schools
✨ A Stage to Shine - creating opportunities for young people with SEND
🧡 Dedicated pastoral support for our students
🌟 Creating pathways to opportunities far beyond our coastline
🎓 Helping young people turn talent into real opportunities

This is exactly why we do what we do: so a child growing up on the coast never feels that their dreams are out of reach.

🧡🖤 In February, we are going to head to London for the prestigious awards ceremony…

Final 7. We’ve done our bit, now it’s fingers crossed for results! 🤞🏆

I am so happy and absolutely thrilled this has been picked up and recognised.

Chris 🧡
