⭐️A huge thank you to Andrew from Buttercups Pottery for coming along to visit us! 🎨 The guys had such a brilliant time getting stuck into their Halloween pottery crafts — there was lots of creativity, laughter and some fantastic creations! 👻🎃

We also really appreciated Andrew bringing along some other pottery items for those who didn’t want to take part in the Halloween theme, making sure everyone had something they could enjoy and get involved with. 💕 Such a thoughtful touch!

From pottery and creativity to animal care, friendships, activities and everything in between, it’s been a brilliant week.⭐️

⭐️We’ve enjoyed messy play and exploring different textures and sensory experiences this week, helping everyone develop their senses, confidence and curiosity.🎨

We’ve also enjoyed music and singing sessions, creative learning, games, discos and celebrating birthdays with friends – creating lots of laughter, smiles and special memories. 🎶💃

At Meadowcroft, every activity is an opportunity to learn, build independence, develop social skills and, most importantly, have fun together!⭐️

⭐️We’ve been embracing the changing season with some sensory play, exploring lots of different autumnal textures, feels and sensory experiences. From smooth, soft and rough textures to natural materials and objects linked to the season, our sensory activities encourage everyone to explore using their senses while supporting communication, concentration and engagement. 🍁🤎

And, of course, we’re starting to get Harvest Festival ready! 🌾We’ve been busy with arts and crafts, creating decorations, artwork and activities ready for our upcoming celebrations. There’s lots of excitement as we begin preparing our poems, games, crafts and other surprises! 🎨

It’s wonderful seeing everyone getting involved, sharing ideas, trying new things and working together. We’re so proud of all the enthusiasm and creativity everyone is showing!⭐️

⭐️One of our highlights was a very generous birthday surprise from one of our parents, who kindly got fish and chips as a treat to celebrate their child’s birthday. 🎂🎉 Everyone had such a wonderful time, getting involved with the birthday games, having lots of fun and, of course, enjoying the celebrations! 🥳💕

We’ve also been keeping busy with our sensory sessions, which have been a lovely opportunity for everyone to relax, explore and engage their senses. ✨

🐴 Animal care has, as always, been a big part of our week. From caring for our animals to getting outside and spending time with them, there have been plenty of opportunities to develop confidence, independence and practical life skills.

🌱 We’ve also been busy in our polytunnel, collecting our fresh produce. There’s something so rewarding about planting, nurturing and eventually harvesting what they have grown! 🍅🥕🌿

And that’s just a little snapshot of everything that’s been happening! There’s been lots of laughter, learning, teamwork, creativity and plenty of those special Meadowcroft moments that make every week different.⭐️

⭐️We’ve been keeping ourselves very busy at Meadowcroft lately, with lots going on and plenty of opportunities to keep developing our skills! 💚

We’ve continued working on our practical skills, taking part in group sessions and individual animal-care sessions, giving everyone the chance to learn, get involved and build confidence. 🐴🐔

We’ve also had lots of fun in the kitchen, including some lovely baking using produce from the garden — always a favourite! 🧁🍎

And as autumn arrives, we’ve started getting creative with some lovely autumn crafts, using seasonal colours and natural materials to make colourful decorations and artwork.⭐️
