Rain sweeping the deck, miles from home and right in the thick of it — Jayden has now been working hard aboard Kirkella for the past 8 weeks, and he’s absolutely loving every minute of it.

What an experience. What an opportunity. And what a way to start building a career at sea. ⚓️

Jayden is grabbing this opportunity with both hands and showing exactly what can be achieved when you’re prepared to step outside your comfort zone and take the chance.

The North Sea is a busy place right now. 🌊⚓

Our inshore fishermen are sharing the North Sea with some serious maritime activity — including one of the world’s largest pipelay vessels, working right here off the Teesside coast.

It’s a great reminder that the sea offers far more career opportunities than many people realise.

A Fishing Industry Diploma could be your first step into a career at sea, whether that takes you into commercial fishing or onwards into the much wider maritime industry — offshore energy, marine operations, vessel work and beyond.

From a small inshore fishing boat to some of the biggest vessels afloat, there’s a whole world of opportunity out there.

Another new adventure gets underway as Flynn steps aboard a new vessel, meets a new skipper and prepares to gain even more valuable experience at sea.

There’s nothing quite like learning the ropes in the real world, surrounded by experienced fishermen and getting a taste of life at sea. ⚓️

We’re looking forward to following Flynn’s journey and seeing where this next adventure takes him!

🐟🔥 GIANT BLUEFIN TUNA! 302KG OF NORTH EAST HISTORY! 🌊

We promised Ada an adventure when she started her maritime journey with us…

We just didn’t expect it to be THIS BIG! 😮🐟

Dominator has landed a 302kg Bluefin Tuna, believed to be the first caught and landed in the North East since the 1930s.

And what makes this story even more special?

The skipper and crew are former students, now passing their knowledge and experience on to our current student, Ada. 🎓⚓

From sitting in the classroom themselves… to now helping the next generation experience incredible moments at sea.

For Ada, this was certainly an adventure she won’t forget.
