Wednesday June 26th saw the final Eskdale Prom at the fantastic Sneaton Castle. Everyone had an amazing time and it was the best possible send off our Y11s could have asked for. Such a momentous event cannot come to fruition without the help of at least a dozen or so people being involved so massive thanks to to:

Mrs Scales - for generally organising, sorting, writing certificates, welcoming each and every person personally to prom, for looking after these fantastic young people fo the most interesting five years of their lives (so far!) and for being generally all round awesome!
Mrs Winspear / Mr Matthewson / Mrs Angell - for being the co-pilots and simply stunning form tutors.
Mrs Nimmo and Mrs Nedley - who have sold tickets and organised monies like they run a national bank chain!
To all other staff in school that have helped with organising or fundraising to allow us to do all the nice things we wanted to do!
To all the parents that supported by coming to Karaoke Night!

Outside of school we have also got many people to thank:

Mr Cooper's Coffee Shop - For a very generous sponsorship
Hume Electrical Services - Also for a generous sponsorship
Drapers Carpets - For our 'Red Carpet' entrance
Hunters Sweet Shop - For supplying confectionary for our sweet trolley

Tony Jones & Claire Paylor - for taking the stunning photos attached to this post
Flowerpot Florists - for helping us sort out flowers
Tying The Knot - for the amazing balloon arch and display
Party Pics Photo Booths - for supplying the selfie booth and even staying a little longer because our speeches ran over!

And of course - the simply wonderful staff at Sneaton Castle - both in preparation for and on the night of Prom!

We simply couldn't have done it without you.

To the class of 2024 - I simply say this ...

**SEPTEMBER FORM GROUPS**

All pupils will officially be informed about their form groups next week, and we will answer all queries after this. Pupil files are still in the process of being moved and updated.

This week we are focusing on pupil timetables; the Year 7 transition and ensuring all systems are in place ready for September. Please note the official name change to Whitby School is in September, we cannot update our system names until then.

Your patience and understanding is appreciated.
