Last day of school! I’d like to wish all my pupils, families and fellow teachers a very happy summer break.

I can’t believe it’s been three years since I started Lightning Learners! It’s been a privilege to be part of the learning journey of so many children in that time. I am so proud of their excellent SATs, end of year test results and glowing reports. But seeing their confidence soar has always been the real highlight for me!

I hope everyone has a lovely holiday. I look forward to seeing you all in September!(Homeschoolers - I’ll still see you next week.)

It’s been one year since I launched my tutoring business and I’ve been amazed by how rapidly the business has grown. I’ve been busy home schooling, tutoring within school, running group sessions and teaching one-to-one in the evenings. It has been a privilege to work with so many brilliant young people and nurture their self belief and confidence so they could achieve their potential. I am very proud of all of them.

Thank you to everyone who has supported and encouraged me in my new venture. It wouldn’t have been possible without you all cheering me on and supporting me.

Happy New Year everyone! Lightning Learners only started in July 2022 and it’s been such an exciting year. The business has grown so quickly and gone from strength to strength. Thank you all for your support and encouragement with my new venture.

I’m looking forward to developing the confidence, knowledge and skills of my students in 2023. January is going to be really busy but I can’t wait to get started!

I hope you all have a restful holiday next week. I’d like to take this opportunity to thank everyone for all their support and encouragement with setting up Lightning Learners Tuition.

I had a great start in the summer with holiday tutoring sessions. Since September, I’ve established group sessions at Penkridge, home schooling two days a week and have almost reached full capacity for 1-1 after school tutoring slots!

Running my own business has proved incredibly rewarding and I have more job satisfaction than I ever anticipated. My work-life balance is better than ever - I love taking Holly to school every morning!
