Learn from the experts. Build your confidence. Become part of a lasting professional network.

SRMC®70 takes place from 16–27 November 2026 at the UK Resilience Academy in York, bringing together expertise from across the security, risk, crisis and disaster management industries.

Designed and delivered entirely by leading authorities and subject matter experts, the course draws on experience from the public, private and voluntary sectors to create a distinctive learning experience grounded in real-world practice.

You’ll develop a comprehensive understanding of security risk management and how it supports wider business priorities, organisational resilience and informed decision-making.

Hosted at the UKRA, the course provides an ideal environment to learn, exchange ideas and build connections with fellow security professionals.

And the support continues beyond the classroom. Through our staff, lecturers and wider SRM Alumni network, you’ll have access to ongoing guidance, shared knowledge and a community that supports your professional development.

Physical Security Management is about more than cameras, barriers, and access control.

Security is changing, and so are the expectations placed on those responsible for protecting people, buildings, assets and infrastructure.

That's exactly why we developed our PSMC® Level 4 ATHE Level 4 Certificate in Physical Security Management.

Who is the PSMC Level 4 for?
- Those moving from military, policing or operational security into the private security industry.
- Security supervisors and managers looking to progress into physical security management.
- Professionals responsible for protecting sites, facilities and critical infrastructure.
- Those looking to develop their skills in physical security consultancy.
- Existing SRMC graduates wanting to strengthen their practical physical security knowledge.

What will you learn?
- The course covers security risk assessments, site security planning, physical security measures, incident management and legal requirements, including Martyn's Law.
- It's practical too. The assessment involves producing a site security plan or security needs assessment, something you can directly relate to real-world security management.

How does it fit with the SRMC?
This is where the two qualifications work really well together. The SRMC Level 5 and Level 6 develop your wider understanding of security risk management, consultancy, frameworks and decision-making. The PSMC Level 4 takes that knowledge and focuses specifically on how you apply it to physical security.
One develops the bigger picture. The other strengthens your ability to put it into practice on the ground.
You don't need to complete the SRMC first, and equally, if you've already achieved your SRMC, the PSMC can be a great additional qualification to broaden your knowledge and demonstrate your specialist skills.

At Frontier Risks, we believe qualifications should do more than look good on your CV. They should give you knowledge you can actually use.

Already completed your SRMC, or thinking about your next step into physical security management? The PSMC Level 4 could be a great addition.

Meet Godfrey … before he became our Head of Operations.

We’ve found three photos of Duncs as a kid, and he’s given us four stories about his life. Three are true. One is a lie.

1. He was punched by a rugby world cup winner
2. He shared a bottle of wh**ky with the Duke of Edinburgh
3. He went on a date with Natalie Imbruglia
4. He was arrested for carrying weapons through Heathrow airport

Which one do you think Duncs made up? Put your guess in the comments.

We’re excited to share a sneak peek into Season 3 of The SRMC Tribe Podcast! The security industry’s biggest podcast!
Yesterday, we were joined by the incredible Peter “Pete the Greek” Letsos! A Chicago born Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt under Carlson Gracie Jr. and the man behind “Wristlock the World”.
With years spent living and training in Brazil alongside some of the sport’s most respected names, Pete brings a wealth of experience, unforgettable stories and plenty of personality.
His journey takes him from the early days of Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu in America to the mats of Brazil and beyond, offering a fascinating perspective on the people, experiences and challenges that have shaped his life.
It was a pleasure to welcome Pete and hear his story. We can’t wait to share it with the SRMC Tribe.
Keep an eye out for the full episode, you won’t want to miss this one.

It might look chaotic. That’s the point.
This short clip is from a recent Civil Disorder course delivered for a media organisation, where participants were placed right in the middle of a realistic and fast-moving public disorder scenario.
We put a huge amount of effort into making our Hostile Environment Awareness Training as immersive and realistic as possible. It’s about experiencing the noise, pressure, confusion and uncertainty of these environments and learning how to operate safely when things don’t go to plan.
Our next open HEAT course runs 21–23 October.

Meet Felipe… before she became our Head of Medical Training & Solutions.

With National Coffee Day being this week, it felt like the perfect time to introduce Dani. Anyone who knows her will know she runs on coffee!

We’ve found three photos of Dani as a kid, and she’s given us three stories about her life. Two are true. One is a lie.

1. She follows extreme weather obsessively and gets massively overexcited when a Category 5 hurricane is announced.

2. Her husband tossed a coin with a friend to decide who would go on a date with her.

3. She was talent-spotted while impersonating Diana Ross in a karaoke competition at a Yates bar.

Which one do you think Dani made up? Put your guess in the comments.
