School and nursery summer pictures but who can you spot having fun in the sun?
The summer holidays are just around the corner and schools and nurseries across the High Peak have been enjoying the last days of term in the sun – as you can see in these photos.

❗ LOST PROPERTY ❗
The lost property rail in the school office has been replenished with all unnamed items lost this term. Please call in and take what you think is yours. The rail holds all school uniform. The red basket underneath holds all the PE jumpers and the grey basket is filled will other items.
All named items have been returned to their owners.
It would really help us, to help you, if all items are named. The best (and cheapest) way to do this is with a sharpie marker pen.
Any uncollected PE jumpers will be donated to charity at the end of the term.

📚 BOOK FAIR COMPETITION 📚
The book fair returns next week and we are pleased to run a competition available to all children at Whaley Bridge Primary School.
There is a £5 voucher available to spend on the book fair, for one child in each class!
All you have to do is design a book cover - this could be an existing book that they would like to re-design, or they could design their very own unique book cover for their own publication. Or write a short story - stories must be no longer than one A4 page long. Think about a beginning, a middle and an end. Add suspense, excitement or drama! Maybe even design a book cover for your short story, or add illustrations to your A4 page.
Entries should be handed to the School Office by Wednesday 14th June. The winners will be announced in assembly on Friday 16th June.
The book fair arrives on Friday 16th June and will be available to view after school between Monday 19th June to Wednesday 21st June. Further information is available on our website here - https://www.whaleybridge.derbyshire.sch.uk/Diary/Book-Fair-2023-06-16/
