AS OF W/C 7th SEPTEMBER

**please note changes to YEAR 1 AND YEAR 3**

Please see below the days on which your children will be having PE lessons this term!
Please can we remind you to send your child to school in their PE kits on those days with long hair tied back and not wearing any jewellery. If your child has pierced ears, please either ensure that earrings are removed and left and home or covered in tape or plasters at home before the school day.

Wow! It was so lovely to see all the children back in school today. We saw lots of excited and happy faces as they entered through the doors. It was wonderful to see children catching up with friends and spending their first day in their new classes. It was also super exciting to welcome the first half of our new reception children, we hope they had the most brilliant day and we can’t wait to welcome the second half tomorrow 🌟 ⭐️ 🌟 ⭐️

We will spend the rest of this week settling into classes and getting used to new routines, staff and expectations before we all hit the ground running next week! We can’t wait to see what this year has in store for the children and we just know they will be amazing….as always! Here’s to academic year 2026/7 👏👏

REMINDER: Order your school dinners for the start of the new term!

If you’re expecting your child to have a school dinner they must be ordered today for the start of the new term! 🍽️🍽️

Just a friendly nudge to remind you that there is only 1 days left to order, for the first day back of the new academic school year (Tuesday 2nd September, for the majority of our schools). Simply visit https://my.localfoodlinks.org.uk/ to place your order. Please remember we need 7 days notice for food orders!

Meals are completely FREE for all children in Reception, Year 1 & Year 2 and still cheaper than the cost of an average take away coffee for Year 3 and above!

Help us spread the word – share with other parents, carers, and your school’s PTA so no child misses out!

We wish everyone well as they move into the summer holidays and we wish our departing children and staff all the very best on the next steps in their journeys.

IRONKIDS Weymouth registration is NOW OPEN!🤩

The first edition of this run only event gives children aged 3-15 years the chance at that magic red carpet feeling as they run a distance from 500m-1.5k and finish under the iconic IRONMAN arch.

The event is set to take place on Saturday 19th September this year.
