all pupils. Our goal is to strengthen the bond between school and home, while providing valuable resources and opportunities that enhance every child’s education and well-being. Whether it’s through summer fayres, discos, or sponsored challenges, we’re proud to help make school life even more rewarding and fun. Here you’ll find details of upcoming events and fundraisers, as well as how the money raised is used to benefit the school and its pupils—from new equipment and classroom resources to trips, workshops, and memorable experiences for every child.

What an absolutely incredible day at the Conifers Primary School Summer Fayre

On behalf of the Friends of Conifers Primary School, we want to say a huge THANK YOU to everyone who came along and supported us today. Whether you bought a raffle ticket, enjoyed a burger from the BBQ, had a go on the games, visited the stalls, watched the entertainment, or simply came along to enjoy the atmosphere – thank you. Your support means the world to us.

A special thank you goes to:
💚 Our amazing volunteers and PTA members who have spent months planning today's event.
💚 The wonderful staff and teachers at Conifers Primary School for their continued support.
💚 The Army Cadets for giving up their time to help throughout the day.
💚 All of our fantastic performers and entertainers who kept the crowds smiling.
💚 Every stallholder, community group and local business who joined us today.
💚 Everyone who generously donated prizes for our Grand Draw – your support has been truly overwhelming and helped make it such a fantastic success.
💚 And finally, thank you to every parent, grandparent, family member, friend and local resident who came along to support our school community.

Events like this simply couldn't happen without so many people giving up their time, donating prizes, sponsoring activities, and supporting us in so many different ways. We are incredibly grateful.

We're closely monitoring the forecast following the current hot weather ahead of Saturday's Conifers Primary School Summer Fayre.

Current forecasts indicate that temperatures are expected to be cooler by the weekend, and we are looking forward to welcoming everyone for a fantastic afternoon.

To help everyone stay safe and comfortable, we encourage visitors to bring:
• A refillable water bottle
• Sun cream
• A hat or other sun protection
• Suitable lightweight clothing for the weather

The safety and wellbeing of our pupils, families, volunteers and visitors remains our priority. We will continue to monitor conditions closely and will have water and shaded areas available where possible.

Please note that we reserve the right to amend activities, alter arrangements, or cancel individual aspects of the event at short notice should weather conditions require it. In the unlikely event that more significant changes are necessary, we will communicate these as soon as possible.

We look forward to seeing you on Saturday and hope everyone enjoys a wonderful Summer Fayre!
