All Saints Church of England Academy is celebrating the achievements of its Year 11 students following another year of positive progress in GCSE outcomes, reflecting the continued improvement journey of the school and the impact of high-quality teaching and learning at All Saints. The school is celebrating some excellent results in a number of subjects including:
- 100% 9-4 In GCSE's French, Spanish, Statistics, Persian, Polish and Russian.
Other high performing GCSE subjects included:
- GCSE RE (96% 9-4)
- GCSE PE (92% 9-4)
- GCSE Physics (87% 9-4)
All Saints offers a broad curriculum including vocational courses in Travel and Tourism, Child Development, Digital IT, Engineering, Sport, Performing Arts and Hospitality and Catering. This year an increasing number of students sat vocational qualifications within their GCSE programme and All Saints is celebrating excellent performances across all their vocational courses including in by students studying:
- Travel and Tourism where100% gained a Level 1 and 87% gained a Level 2
- Performing Arts where 100% gained a Level 1 and 82% gained a Level 2
This year 83% of students studying Hospitality and Catering at All Saints gained a Level 2 Pass, Merit or Distinction, with many of these students progressing onto Post 16 Hospitality and Catering courses.
The results are a testament to the hard work, determination and resilience of the whole Year 11 cohort. These young people joined All Saints during the challenging period following the COVID-19 lockdowns and, from their very first day at the school, they have shown remarkable resilience and a determination to succeed. Today is about celebrating every member of the Year 11 cohort. Each student has their own story, their own achievements and their own strengths, and the school is immensely proud of the progress they have made.
Congratulations to the highest performing students within the class of 2026, who are:
- Arthur H gained seven grade 9's, two grade 8's , a Level 2 Distinction and a Level 2 Distinction* in Extended Maths
- Eve B who gained five grade 9's, three grade 8's, one grade 7, one Level 2 Distinction and a Level 2 Distinction in Extended Maths
- Kieran C who gained five grade 9's and four grade 8's and one grade 5
- Poppy C who gained five grade 9's, one grade 8, two grade 7's, one Level 2 Distinction
- Rhys S who gained two grade 9's, five grade 8's, three grade 7's and a Level 2 Distinction in Extended Maths

Their GCSE results demonstrate the continued positive improvement journey that All Saints is on and are a reflection of the hard work of our students and the high-quality teaching and support provided by our staff. This is a cohort who have shown extraordinary resilience. They joined us at a particularly challenging time in education, having experienced the disruption caused by COVID-19 and lockdowns, yet they have consistently demonstrated determination and a willingness to succeed. What makes us particularly proud is that these students are so much more than their examination results. They have been young leaders, sportsmen and sportswomen, artists, performers, musicians and active members of our community. They have embraced opportunities, supported others and contributed positively to life at All Saints. Throughout their time with us, they have embodied our five school values: Act Wisely, Show Kindness, Help Others, Build Community and Embrace Opportunities and Experiences. They have made an important contribution to our school community and will always be an important part of the history of All Saints. I would like to thank our parents and families for their unwavering support and encouragement, and our staff for the commitment, care and expertise they have shown to these young people. Behind every result is a huge amount of hard work from students, staff and families, and we are grateful to everyone who has played a part. Most importantly, I want our students to know how proud we are of them as individuals. Their GCSE results are just one part of their story and I have every confidence that they will go on to achieve great things. As they now move on to sixth form, college, apprenticeships and employment, we wish every one of them every success and, above all, happiness for the future. They leave us with our very best wishes and with our thanks for everything they have contributed to All Saints. They will always be part of our community and an important part of our school’s history.”
