Did you have a productive weekend? Before you answer that, ask yourself what does a productive weekend look like to you? Is it working on projects? Is it getting housework done? Is it doing overtime for work? Is it running errands or does it change? For us a productive weekend looks different every weekend..
This week we partied, we took the girls on a few trips, we watched movies and took it easy. And today I’m feeling more productive than ever! It’s ok to prioritise fun, family time and rest sometimes especially when we spend a lot of the week in auto pilot, prioritising everything else!

Happy Saturday from me and my oldest ❤️there is definitely something special about the oldest child, the way she is with her younger sisters is amazing, don’t get me wrong they argue and they fight at times, but she is the most caring, nurturing and considerate child I know. I love the way she helps them up when they fall, the way she tells them they look beautiful, the way she sticks up for them, the way she reads to them and plays with them, she genuinely wants to help❤️ it’s truly beautiful to watch but on the flip side there is a certain pressure that comes with being the oldest, the expectations, the comments “your the oldest” “you should know better” “don’t hit her back” “she’s younger than you” “be a good big sister” “help her” “get that for her” “let her have it” it can be a lot, it can be frustrating, especially when not so long ago they was the baby!
It is soo important to remind the oldest that they are more than just the oldest❤️ spend quality time with them, give them cuddles and kisses 😘 affirm them , let them be silly and let them mess up.

📖it is a great opportunity for bonding💕
