🏈Year 3 have been busy developing their tag rugby skills, and 3H enjoyed a special visit from The Bank of Dreams and Nightmares.
πŸ€Έβ€β™‚οΈYear 4 have been designing and making their own torches and refining their gymnastics skills.
πŸ—ΊYear 5 have continued with tag rugby and enjoyed a trip into the local area to map different types of land use.
πŸͺ–Year 6 have been exploring rhythmic gymnastics with hoops and ribbons and have produced some excellent work about Weymouth's role in World War II.
🍎We were also delighted to welcome a special visitor from St Aldhelm's Church, who delivered an assembly all about Harvest and the importance of helping others. 🌾

Thank you to all of our families for your incredible generosity in supporting our Harvest Collection this year. We were overwhelmed by the number of donations received, which will all be donated to Weymouth Foodbank to help support local families and individuals in need.

πŸ“šπŸŒΎ Harvest Festival Celebration! πŸŒΎπŸ“š
Today, we were delighted to welcome Laura Lark and friends from St Aldhelm's Church to lead our Harvest Festival Assembly.
The children enjoyed joining in with lots of wonderful harvest songs, with the classic "Big Red Combine Harvester" proving to be a firm favourite! 🚜🎢 There was plenty of enthusiastic singing and a chance to reflect on the importance of being thankful and helping others in our community.
A huge thank you to everyone who has already sent in donations for our Harvest Collection in support of the Weymouth Foodbank. πŸ₯«β€οΈ
There's still time to contribute, with two more days remaining to bring in donations. Every item, no matter how small, will help support local families in need.
Thank you for your continued generosity and support. 🌟

β˜€οΈ What a wonderful week we've had! We can hardly believe the sun is still shining and the weather is so glorious for October. We are now over halfway through the first half term. Hasn't it flown by?
Our Reception children have been enjoying learning about their bodies, with Funny Bones as their class book this week.
In Year 1, pupils have been busy playing tricky word hopscotch and practising their threading skills alongside their reading of Farmer Duck.
Year 2 have been doing a fantastic job in their music lessons and have enjoyed The Tiger Who Came to Tea... with a twist!
Year 3 have impressed us with their French learning, created some amazing sculptures inspired by Barbara Hepworth, and are thoroughly enjoying James and the Giant Peach.
Year 4 have enjoyed tennis coaching sessions this week and have produced some excellent writing inspired by their class book, Beowulf.
In Year 5, pupils are currently reading Wonder and are really enjoying exploring its powerful themes.
Meanwhile, Year 6 have been busy writing thoughtful letters based on their class book, Hana's Suitcase.
It's been another week full of learning, creativity and fun across the school.
We hope everyone enjoys a lovely weekend in the sunshine!
