Today's Top Tip: it's the frequent practice that makes all the difference.

It's the small things you do everyday which build up to big outcomes in the end - just ask the England cycling squad about that!

If you aim to read with your child for just a few minutes every day and commit to making sure it always gets done, you will be amazed at how much better they start doing at school.

It's when you procrastinate, and say things like, "Well, I don't really have time today; I'll do it tomorrow," that those missed days lead into missed weeks and the missed weeks lead into missed months and, before you know it, your child is struggling with their reading.

Reading with your child for 5 minutes a day is one of the most powerful things you can possible do to help them succeed in their education.
