Want to know what we're up to in Comedy and Drama? We are delving into the crazy world of Pantomime! 🎭Panto is one of the oldest and most beloved traditions in British theatre, and during this term our students will be learning everything from the history of Pantomime, to trying their hand at some of the storytelling tropes and classic Panto gags. We will be focusing on our physicality as well as our vocal skills to create larger-than-life characters. As well as building confidence through improvisation and practicing audience interaction, oh yes we are!

Want to know what we’re up to in Musical Theatre? Chalk and Cheese is an imaginative project which focuses on the characters in our favourite Musicals who couldn't be more different from one another! It allows our students to delve into what makes characters so individual, and why this makes the stories so interesting. Through this process we are developing strong characterisation skills whilst also exploring storytelling through song. It allows us to practice important industry skills like musicality, singing and script work. So are you a Glinda or an Elphaba? A Shrek or a Fiona? We can’t wait to find out!

SAVE THE DATE: 14th November

Our Poppets will be sharing all their hard work and take you all on an Animal Adventure on the 14th of November 🐠🐰🦊🐧

We will cross biomes and explore the wilderness! Please make sure to pack some sensible footwear as we will be traversing the Mountains, Tundra and Ocean to name a few! This sharing gives our wonderful Poppets the chance to start exploring performing for an audience and gives them a taste for the stage in a low pressure, highly supportive environment. We can't wait to see you there! ✨🎭
