🍅Our Lower Pre School children have been busy in the Polly tunnel harvesting in our delicious tomatoes that have been growing.

🍅 Our children were in awe as they noticed the tomatoes had changed colour from green to red

“ There red now”

“ Can we pick them “

🍅 They used wonderful mathematical language as they described the tomatoes as big, little and red. Our children recognised that the tomato’s were circle shapes.

🍅They collected the tomatoes in from our Polytunnel then took them inside to be washed.

We then gave these to our wonderful chef Zoe in the kitchen .

Our Pre School children have been busy in our allotment this morning they have been harvesting our delicious tomatoes with our chef Zoe and watering our pumpkins flowers and corn .

🍅Our Pre School children used a variety of tools to water and harvest the different vegetables. They showed great mathematical knowledge as they described the vegetable’s

🐘Elephant day.

🐘Lower Pre School made a magnificent stage and put on a wonderful elephant show

🐘Our children took turns to wear an elephant trunk sleeve that squirted water as they acted out a story.

🐘They stomped like an elephant and when we said ' goodness gracious what a big nose' our children squirted the audience with pipettes filled with water from their very own elephant trunk!

🐘They learnt lots of amazing facts about the elephant

“ Gentle giants “
“ They spray water onto there backs to act as sun screen! “

“Some days we’re pirates. Some days we’re sharks. Some days we’re elephants. And some days we’re clowns! But EVERY day? We use our imagination while we learn and play!”

✨Over the last couple of weeks we have said our good byes to our Pre School Leavers of 2026 !

✨We want to wish you all the luck in the world on your new adventures.

Some of you still have siblings with us, so we’ll see you around soon – but for those moving on, please know it has been an absolute pleasure helping you to learn and grow we can’t wait to see a picture of you in your smart school uniform

🌓Taking a moment to share our Pre School children learning all about the partial Eclipse that took place on Wednesday

🌓Our Pre School children have been learning about what an eclipse is and, most importantly, how we enjoy this amazing event while keeping our eyes safe wearing special glasses.

🌓They created their own Eclipse pictures learning wonderful knowledge about this magical event

🚜Toddler Room - Story of the month

Toddlers have been busily creating a tractor and lots of farm animal props to act out our story of the month “When spot goes to the farm”. We had a wonderful time taking listening to the story on the field and taking the tractor for a ride. How lovely to bring our story to life using our imagination 💭.

Storytelling in the early years shapes young minds, builds empathy, and sparks a lifelong love for learning
