Serving the community in North Somerset Music Makers Academy is the place to come for your music and singing lessons. With a team of professional musicians providing a safe environment for supported learning, tailored tuition and performance training in a wide variety of instruments. (please see our ‘Services’ page for more details about instruments we currently teach)

We also offer a full examination course for all of our students studying an instrument and theory of music. We use various exam boards including the London College of Music and Registry of Guitar Tutors, Rock School, Trinity and ABRSM. Exams are entirely voluntary; however we find they offer an excellent format for measurement of continuing progress.

Guitar student Leon was given a summer challenge of learning a piece in two double lessons.

After being taught the first half of this arrangement of ‘On Broadway’ in the first one, Leon chose to use the skills he has been taught as well as his own initiative and had learned the second half in between.

What a great way of spending some free time over the school holidays! Well done Leon 👏
