We are all reading the book, Mrs Noah's Pockets by Jackie Morris, this week which helps create a strong sense of community by giving all pupils a shared experience and common language.

It promotes a culture of reading for pleasure, supports inclusion and belonging, and provides opportunities to explore school values through engaging stories. We are aiming to to produce a piece of quality writing and artwork inspired by the story.

Fabulous to welcome everyone back into school today and embracing the changes of being in a new class!

We have had lots of changes to our learning environment over the summer making us feel extra proud to be part of Herons' Moor: new flooring in all classrooms, new reading books (fiction and non-fiction),new lunch box trolleys, our new PE kit for PE days, new desks in KS2 and re-designed outdoor area for Y1. Not to mention tinted windows to keep us cooler in the extreme hot weather.
