Parentalk – The Primary Years is a six-week video-based course for parents of children under the age of 12. Suitable for all mums and dads, whether parenting together or alone and whatever size family you have. Parentalk gives parents the chance to get together and talk about the realities of bringing up children.

We’ll be exploring the important role that parents have in their child’s life and looking at some of the everyday challenges that they face. Importantly, the content is well researched and based on what is known to be effective in building strong relationships within families. Parentalk looks at valuable principles that can be applied on a day-to-day basis and we hope that by the end of the course we will have discovered a range of practical strategies and helpful tips for family life.

The course will be lead by Lizzie and team – We’re all parents, just trying our best too!

Come and join us on Tuesday evenings 7-9pm, starting on 16th September 2025.
We’ll meet in the Spire Centre (Christ Church) – Refreshments provided!

Christ Church Summer Fete 2025 - Thank you! ☀️🥳
Thank you to all the people that were a part of the successful summer fete:
Our amazing children and their families who joined in in any way - it wouldn't have happened without you and your positive vibes! Your donations & your pennies helped raised £1092!
To all the staff, ex staff & families of staff who volunteered to help at the fete. We are not paid for school events such as these and know that time is very precious for busy teachers - we are all proud to you call colleagues and we know our families will have appreciated your time too.
Finally, thank you to the companies who donated their generous raffle prizes... Imagination Fascination WSM, M-T games, Boots UK, The Ship Inn Uphill, No1fishandchips, Scoops WSM, Nuffield Health, Bakers Dolphin 49 Social Club (WsM), Eleven Roller Disco.
Raising money is so important for schools when funding is cut - every penny we raise goes towards enriching our children's experiences at school and helping reduce the costs of trips as we know funds are tight for everybody.

Sun's Out, Fun's Out at the School Fete! ☀️

We've just received word from the meteorological experts (otherwise known as "someone looked out the window") that the weather for today’s school fete is going to be glorious!
This means you can practice your "I'm definitely beating Mr Bazell at best the goalie” or “I’m definitely going to splat Mr James with a sponge" face.
Just bring your good vibes, your loose change for the stalls (we have been very busy), and maybe a suncream & a hat to shield your eyes from the sheer brilliance of the day (and your kids' competitive spirit on splat a rat 😆).
We can't wait to see you all there, basking in the sunshine and making some fantastic fete memories! Let's make this the brightest (and hopefully driest!) summer fete yet!

See you at 1pm!

General information:

Please bring your pennies- we have some change but any attempts to break £20 notes may not be able to be broken straight away.
Ice lollies will be in the kitchen.
Drinks and cakes will be in the Year 6 hut.
All other stalls will be on the school playground (weather dependent of course!)
First aid & lost children pickup will be in the main foyer.
Please park with consideration for the neighbours.
