Ann Clewlow Soprano & Singing Teacher I teach singing and music theory to people of all ages, currently from 7 to 74, and all abilities. I also have a Licentiate Teaching Diploma.

Singing lessons in Weston super Mare, all ages, beginners to diploma, concert and oratorio soprano, director of Vocalise, Vocalise-Lite and Vocalessence choirs. Whether you are an absolute beginner or a professional singer looking to improve your technique or performance skills, or an aspiring teacher, I can help you. I studied at Trinity College of Music with Wendy Eathorne and am a Fellow of Trinity College of London and the London College of Music. There are lots of things on the menu to choose from - grade exams in singing and/or music theatre to grade 8, music theory to grade 5, diplomas in singing and singing teaching, music festivals such as Weston Junior Arts Festival, Highbridge and Bristol Festivals, student charity concerts - great fun! - preparation for auditions for amateur dramatic productions or for applications to conservatoires and stage schools. Or sing just for fun! I am a Fellow member of the Incorporated Society of Musicians (ISM), a member of the Association of Teachers of Singing (AOTOS) and I care very much about vocal health and longevity. I specialise in adolescent changing voices. If you love singing, come along and try a one off lesson, with no obligation to continue. I guarantee it will be fun - and It may be the best thing you ever did!

Saddened to hear of the passing of Betty Roe MBE. Two of my choirs have sung songs written by Betty, and I have myself sung many of her songs in recitals and taught them to students over the years, including children who enjoyed songs from her children's shows. She was a prolific composer and even wrote an opera especially for the people of Swindon! I had the pleasure of meeting her at an ISM meeting and listening to her sing some of her songs. RIP Betty

We've often performed with our sister choir, Vocalise, but this will be our first very own concert. Lots of variety of music. Do come and support us. Tickets can be bought on the door or reserved by ringing 01934 627709, as there is limited space.
There will be a charity raffle, and optional sweet and savoury refreshments will be served with tea, coffee and squash from 1pm.
