PE Timetable 2026/2027 ⚽️🏉🏅🏐🏀🥎

Children must wear their PE kit to school.

The PE kit expectations are as follows:
· For boys, this includes: black shorts or jogging bottoms, a white top, and trainers.
· For girls, this includes: black leggings, joggers or shorts, a white top, and trainers.

Cold weather
If the weather is cold (we know what British weather is like), children can wear a Windwhistle school jumper. Other types of jumpers are not permitted.

Reception will confirm their PE day when the children are settled in.

We hope that you are enjoying the summer break.

Just a quick reminder to all families and to those joining us in September that you need to do the school meals from by the end of August!

This means for all children joining in September in Reception and any other year groups, and for all existing children going into Years 1,2,3,4,5,6. Even if it says you are not eligible at the end, this does not affect your free school meals in reception, Y1 and Y2. Your child can still have these!

Just a reminder that no children should be bringing in toys or regulation/sensory items such as squishies. If your child needs a regulation item they are available in every classroom.
If a child brings them in we will take them and return them to you at the end of the day. Thank you.

It was the night before Term 1,
A new school year had begun.

Dear families,

Due to the continuing hot weather this week, we have had to make some alterations to the timings of our Sports Days. As well as the very hot afternoon temperatures, the higher than usual wind means that we are not able to provide additional shade as we had hoped. In making alterations to the day, we have attempted to make as few changes as possible and have followed UK Athletics advice for sporting events in hot weather.
See below for the new arrangements.

There is no need to change the order you have made for lunch on Wednesday.

Please ensure that your child arrives at school with sun cream already applied and wearing a hat. Bottles are essential.
