Well this is exciting- I’m booked to do a talk at Front Room in November!

Come along if you’ve always known you were different, but you learned to wear a mask until burnout, peri-menopause, caregiving and leaving a job that no longer fit finally forced you to stop and ask… Why?

For many women, that’s when they start to recognise or receive a late ADHD diagnosis.

In this immersive, somatic talk, Jenny explores why so many of the ā€˜shoulds’ and strategies you’ve tried stop working. Especially if you’re someone who’s spent years holding everyone else together, whether that’s family, friends, or a business built on giving to others.

Jenny unpacks what becomes possible when your nervous system is finally allowed to receive support instead of just providing it to others.

Speaking from experience most coaches don’t have: Jenny’s unrecognised ADHD burned her out so badly she ended up in a wheelchair with ME/CFS for a lot of her 20s.

Recovering her health and later recognising, and eventually being diagnosed with, ADHD, became the foundation for the work she now does as ADHD Women’s Coach of the Year 2024–25 – helping women building heart-led businesses of their own create more impact, and income, without burning out.

Come expecting to feel understood – audiences regularly call it the most validating talk they’ve been to.

Proving to my nervous system that I do t always have to hustle and work my ass off for everything!

The urge to be glued to my laptop has still been there, and there’s a part of me that feels behind, like I’m letting people down.

But I also know that’s my nervous system freaking out because I’m doing things a bit differently.

I’ve had 2 lie ins, meditated in the rain, baked, gone out for walks, gone to spiritual church and I’ve done a bit of work too.

Does slowing down feel alien to you too?

Being the quiet good girl?

Sometimes the things you think are just ā€œhow you areā€ are protective strategies your nervous system learned along the way.

Is there ever a right time to post something like this? Ahh I’m just going to do it!

And see what happens, if lots of people unfollow me, that’s fine, they aren’t my people.

But I want to be honest with you because I’m sure I’m not the only one.

I’m hoping if you’ve experienced similar you’ll feel a bit less alone 🫶

Different day, same s**t? Same lack of boundaries, same ā€œI’m fineā€ mask to your clients?

Nothing changes if nothing changes.

And switching up your environment is one of the most powerful ways to break the pattern of the same old s**t.

So let me know which of these tips resonated with you most? Are you already implementing any?

If you want to be in the room (or the private villa) with those other ambitious neurodivergent women running wellbeing businesses, are you joining us in Spain?
