📚✨ Friends of Castle Batch PTA – End of Year School Report 2025-2026 ✨📚

🎓 Attainment: ✅ On Track/Expected!

This year, thanks to your incredible support, we’ve invested over £5,300 back into our school!

From new playground equipment, gazebos for shelter and shade, Literature Fun Day, Easter treats, Christmas gifts, Year 6 leavers’ books, and so much more… every raffle ticket, disco, competition and donation has made a real difference.

⭐ Next Step: Greater Depth!

We’re proud of everything we’ve achieved with your support, but we had to scale some events back this year which we know was a bit rubbish. We’d love to push even further next year and give the children lots of fun events as part of the school community! We have big plans, exciting events and even bigger fundraising ideas to help provide even more equipment, experiences and resources for our wonderful school.

To reach Greater Depth, we’d love a few more helping hands. Whether you can spare an hour at an event, join the committee, help behind the scenes or simply support our fundraisers, every little bit makes a huge difference. We’d also love to hear from any local businesses that may want to help sponsor events and competitions too! We’ll have a meeting in September and share details the end of summer. 😎

A massive THANK YOU to every family, volunteer, local business and supporter who has helped us this year. We simply couldn’t do it without you.

😎Reminder!😎 Non-school uniform day tomorrow! All children are welcome if they wish to wear their own clothes.

Whilst we might discourage any football shirts with MESSI on (jokes) it’s a chance for children to pick their outfits, keep cool in the summer sun and most importantly have a fun last Friday of school before the summer holidays!

£1 donation to be handed at the door of your children’s classroom to their teacher - with all proceeds adding to the final fundraising total of the year for school supplies!

With your support we’ve funded some great things this year at the school and we’ll share a bumper end of year school report soon for all things Friends of Castle Batch!

We’re always looking for new volunteers to help out the events on for the school and help raise funds. If you’d like to support, please just drop us a message and we’ll see you the other side of summer! 🤓✌️

IT’S COMING HOME! No, we’re not talking about the football (although that is too…) we’re on about the rainbow hampers that have been won by our amazing school raffle winners! Woowooo! 🌈🙌

A huge thank you to the wonderful 142 supporters who helped raise £839 through our rainbow hamper raffle! All money raised goes to supporting school supplies and events.

We hope you enjoy all the goodies - and you’ll have them in time for the next England game!

All hampers can be collected by the winners in the school office, enjoy! 🌈🙌

🕺💃🪩 Disco week has arrived! 🪩💃🕺

Just a reminder that the School Disco takes place this Friday, 19 June.

If you haven’t already and your child would like to attend, please make sure you’ve paid for your child’s ticket via ParentPay by Thursday.

All details for your child’s year group disco can be found on the TPLT app.

We’re also on the lookout for a few parent volunteers. No dance moves required (although they’re welcome) - just a hand to help us make the evening run smoothly! You’ll even recognise some of the tunes the children think they’re the first generation to dance to!

If you can help support the school disco, get in touch! The children bring the energy; we just need enough adults to keep up with it!

Reminder for tomorrow! 🌈🎉 NON-UNIFORM DAY - Friday 15th May🎉🌈

All children come to school in their own clothes and bring an item in their year group colour. It could be sweets, a drink, bubble bath, or anything fun… as long as it matches their year’s colour! 🎁

Your colour guide:

🌈 Little Learners - rainbow
🔴 Reception – Red
🟡 Year 1 – Yellow
🌸 Year 2 – Pink
🟢 Year 3 – Green
🟣 Year 4 – Purple
🟠 Year 5 – Orange
🔵 Year 6 – Blue

All the colourful donations will be turned into amazing rainbow hampers by FOCB, which will then be raffled online to raise money for exciting new treats for our school! 🎟️✨

It’s disco week! 🕺🏻🪩💃We need a couple of volunteers for the school discos on Friday 27 March, 3.15pm to 6pm to help out - if you can spare a few hours to help - drop us a message! It’ll be tapping your feet to tunes whilst manning the tuck shop, all for raising funds for school supplies and activities - no dancing required! We’ll even stick in a song request for each parent who volunteers! DM us or drop a message below if you are free and can come along! We hope the children are excited! 💃🪩🕺🏻

📣 £173 raised by the ❤️ colouring competition and £327 with casual clothes day! 🙌

A whole lot of love for all the competition entries which were all completely fabulous! We loved seeing so many hearts and sharing the love! Thank you to everyone who entered. 🎨

It’s the icing on the cake having £500 raised for the school and we can’t wait to see the difference it will make. Thank you to all the parents who volunteered to make it happen!
