Due to the changes to Free School Meal eligibility starting this term, 𝗽𝗿𝗲𝘃𝗶𝗼𝘂𝘀 𝗲𝗻𝘁𝗶𝘁𝗹𝗲𝗺𝗲𝗻𝘁𝘀 𝘄𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗡𝗢𝗧 𝗮𝘂𝘁𝗼𝗺𝗮𝘁𝗶𝗰𝗮𝗹𝗹𝘆 𝗰𝗮𝗿𝗿𝘆 𝗼𝘃𝗲𝗿.

Please read the information below carefully to check whether you need to apply.

✅ YES! Regardless of income, please complete an application using the Free School Meals checker (link below)

❓ 𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗶𝘀 𝗶𝗻 𝗥𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗽𝘁𝗶𝗼𝗻, 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟭 𝗼𝗿 𝗬𝗲𝗮𝗿 𝟮. 𝗗𝗼 𝗜 𝘀𝘁𝗶𝗹𝗹 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆?

✅ YES! Although children in these year groups currently receive Universal Infant Free School Meals, if you claim Universal Credit you should still apply.

❓ 𝗠𝘆 𝗰𝗵𝗶𝗹𝗱 𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗲𝗶𝘃𝗲𝗱 𝗙𝗿𝗲𝗲 𝗦𝗰𝗵𝗼𝗼𝗹 𝗠𝗲𝗮𝗹𝘀 𝗯𝗲𝗳𝗼𝗿𝗲. 𝗗𝗼 𝗜 𝗻𝗲𝗲𝗱 𝘁𝗼 𝗿𝗲𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗹𝘆?

✅ YES! Previous entitlement will not carry over. If you do not reapply, your child will automatically be placed on paid school meals unless they are in Reception, Year 1 or Year 2.

This Friday is a VERY exciting day! Firstly it is WATER FIGHT DAY! Your children will need to bring to school:

* A whole change of clothes that they can get wet including underwear, socks and shoes!
* A towel
* a water pistol / water gun

After school on Friday we will of course be doing Ice-cream Friday! However we will also being doing SOAK THE STAFF! Six members of the teaching and POW staff will be braving the soak, all in the name of raising money for the school!
