A really good activity for children to learn ‘sight words’ which are words that don’t follow the regular phonics pattern and spelling rules. By learning to recognise those tricky words by sight it helps them become more fluent in their reading, and increases their ability to decode words so they can fully understand a story when they read it 👍🏼
