Join Julie and Elliot for a ‘My Day’ workshop that helps children to improve their empathy skills, get used to a new routine and have a lot of fun while doing it.

🌟 Celebration & Goodbye – Our Final Week at Nursery 💛

We can’t quite believe it’s our final week already!

This week we’ll be spending lots of time looking back on all the fun we’ve had together over the past year. We’ll be chatting about the children’s favourite memories, the friends they’ve made and all the amazing things they’ve learned.

The children will also enjoy colourful sensory trays, party hat decorating, celebration bunting, bakery play, a giant birthday cake craft, picnic role play and fun circle-time activities such as scarves, parachute games and show and tell.

We’ll also be talking about moving on to school, saying goodbye and all the exciting adventures that are still to come. It’s always a week full of mixed emotions, but we’ll be there to support the children every step of the way and make sure they leave feeling happy, confident and proud of everything they’ve achieved.

SEND Chat and Play

Our Special Educational Needs and Disabilities Chat and Play sessions are a great opportunity to come and meet other families going through a similar journey, in a relaxed environment.

Our SEND Champions are on hand to talk about the services we offer, signpost to different organisations or to simply act as a listening ear.

All are welcome whether your child is diagnosed or you are concerned about a possible need. We have toys out for the children or you can come by yourself.

🎒 Big School – This Week at Nursery 📚

This week we’ll be focusing on Big School as we help the children get ready for their exciting next adventure.

We’ll be reading stories, acting out classroom routines and enjoying lots of role play, giving the children the chance to pretend to be teachers and pupils. We’ll practise things like listening together, taking turns and following simple instructions all while having plenty of fun!

We’ll also be talking about how everyone feels about starting school. Some children are really excited, while others might feel a little unsure, and that’s perfectly okay. We’ll spend time chatting about these feelings, answering any questions they have and helping to build their confidence. We’ll also continue encouraging their independence with everyday tasks to help them feel ready for September.
