Apple Collecting! 🍎 🍏
The Cubs really loved this activity today, the ‘apples’ were attached with velcro so the children could pick them from the tree and put them into the basket! 🧺 They then stuck them back on the tree! 🌳
We even heard some number names whilst adding them to the basket!

On Tuesday, Jade bought her pet Tortoise Swifty in to visit us after lots of requests to see him again! 🐢 The children really enjoyed watching him explore the rooms! Lots were even brave enough to stroke his shell! 🐢

Some of the children from Tigers and Bears had a visit to the train station on Monday.
The trip was prompted from a child’s interest in trains and a transport theme that the children in Tigers have been learning about.

Welcome to Bright Stars Airways! ✈️ 👩‍✈️
Today the preschool children have been talking about aeroplanes and needing passports!
The children made passports and enjoyed drawing themselves inside.
This afternoon we pretended we were at the airport, we all checked in for our flight with flight attendant Leah, we then took our seats and even had a safety briefing from flight attendant Bev! We then took off on our flight piloted by Bev! ✈️ 👩‍✈️

Today is the last day of term for our children attending term-time only, we hope that you enjoy the summer and we look forward to seeing you at the beginning of term, from Thursday 3rd September onwards.
For children that will be leaving us to move onto school, we wish you success and happiness, it has been a pleasure and privilege to be part of your early childcare and education. 🌟🌟🌟

We have a huge amount of lost property at nursery! It has all be put in the main foyer, please have a look through and take anything that belongs to your child.
Anything not claimed by Friday will be donated to charity.

We would like to say a huge thank you to Farnfields Solicitors who have donated this lovely bird box to Bright Stars Nursery! 😊
We will be putting it up in the nursery garden soon and hope to see birds accessing this lovely home!
