In January, I decided to close Rose Hill Tutoring. Due to changes in my life, I could no longer commit to delivering tutoring sessions.

I wanted to take this opportunity to thank everyone who supported me in setting up, and throughout, Rose Hill Tutoring. Seeing the difference that sessions made to children and young people was so rewarding.

I'm so glad that I took the leap to set up Rose Hill Tutoring and I'm so thankful to everyone who trusted me to tutor their children, I had the best time doing so!

Here in England, it's the final week of the summer break for most children. Some of you may feel sad about it ending and for others, it might feel like the right time to get your child back into school!

🏃‍♂️➕🧮 Turn your space into a Maths Obstacle Course!

You could do this in the garden, in a space in your home or even at the park.

There could be directions involving number e.g. at cone number 5, you must do 3 rounds of 5 star jumps. You could extend that by asking your child how many star jumps that is altogether to add in some times table questions. Or, each station could have a Maths task to complete in order to move onto the next challenge e.g. what are the number bonds to 10? or, can you say your 3 times tables?

However you fancy completing this task is up to you! It's a great way to work on Maths skills and gross motor skills. Have fun 😁
